As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that aluminum cans meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, you will analyze and report measurement and test data to support short-term process monitoring and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of measurement devices and parameters.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update calibration and service schedules for measurement equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee service visits for equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Manage documentation, including certificates and gauge traceability records, ensuring proper archiving.
  • Lead investigations, quality improvement initiatives, and data collection efforts to support business and customer objectives.
  • Utilize SPC and Minitab process control methods to analyze data and assess both existing processes and potential modifications.
  • Perform internal metrological verifications, calibrations, and qualifications for all measurement and control devices within quality control and production areas.
  • Operate and maintain measuring equipment in accordance with supplier service guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with measurement devices and develop internal instructions as needed.
  • Conduct periodic statistical analysis of quality parameters as assigned.
  • Record and, when necessary, retain samples for quality issue investigations and rechecks.
  • Provide internal training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and measurement techniques.

Functie-eisen
  • Minimum of secondary education; additional qualifications in quality management are an advantage;
  • Proven experience in a Quality Control role;
  • Proficiency in using measurement devices, test equipment, and tools;
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, BRC, HACCP principles, and health & safety regulations;
  • Basic knowledge of SPC, MINITAB, and Statistica software;
  • Sery strong command of the English language;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; capable of working independently or collaboratively.
